This is quite a unique love story.

There is some paranormal aspect to the story but its not about vampires or werewolves. It's about a heroine who has a gift, she is a selfless girl who left her life behind to help and share her gift.

I don't usually read paranormal genres but somehow this one didn’t feel paranormal at all. It's like our usual romance stories with forbidden plots.

There’s also a bit of a love triangle but it's really different and there's no cheating involved.

This is a page turner and a bit of a tearjerker. This is highly recommended. This is also a refreshing story because it's unique and different.

"You and me. We are so in love, Charlie. You feeling it yet? Do I make your heart go pitter patter?”

Wow what a unique love story.

I don't know how to describe the plot without it sounding weird. I'll just say that the story has some kind of science fiction or a bit of a paranormal twist to it. Its not vampires or werewolves that I can say so far. It more feels like since they are not fans of their current self so they wanted a fresh start and forget everything.

We have these two main characters who suddenly woke up not remembering their pasts. And so they spend their time getting to know each other and retracing their pasts. I can't say anything anymore become I'm at a loss as well. I don't know what will happen next because it ended on a cliffy.

What I do know is that I liked the characters, especially Silas. He has this certain kindness and sense of humor. He’s kind of funny. I'm still trying to figure out Charlie though because it takes some time for her to open up. And she's kind of the running or pushing away type which doesn't sit well with me.

Hopefully we get tge the sequel soon because I can't wait to read more of Silas and Charlie. I don't typically read paranormal stories but since this is by Colleen Hoover and Tarryn Fisher, two of my favorite authors, I tried it and I didn't regret reading it. I can't wait for the sequel.

The King - J.R. Ward

I am excited to read this. Even though I didn't get to read all of the books in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, I think I only finished until book 2, but I liked Wrath and Beth in book 1. Paranormal romance is not my typical genre as it doesn't hold my attention that long. I usually get bummed and bored with it. But this book I will definitely make an exception. I love the blind king! Plus look at the hot cover, it's eye catching and it's the perfect depiction of Wrath.

Transcendence - Shay Savage

“I will provide for her. I will protect her. I will give her anything she wants.”

I was hesitant at first to read this book. I was a bit weirded out because this is a story that transcends time. It's a caveman story and I was thinking that it's not for me. But lo and behold I've been reading good reviews about the book at Goodreads. So I had to read it.

This book is so different from any other book yet so refreshing. I couldn't help but feel the pure unadulterated love of Ehd to Beh. It really is pure love without the modern complications and I can't help but gush how beautiful it is, the writing enabled the readers to feel it.

There were moments were I felt lost because I couldn't understand Beh and there were times were I felt the story was too long. I also would have wanted to read Beh's view. But all these reservations vanished when I reached the end because I felt that despite all these, reading this book is so worth it. I really loved the ending. I especially loved the last part where the situation was explained.

There were also many parts that cracked me up. Getting inside Ehd's mind is like watching a romantic comedy. He's so funny yet so romantic at the same time. It was also arousing without needing too much details and kink.

This book is highly recommended. This book reminded me of The Notebook because of the love of the couple that have no bounds, so like Ehd and Beh's love for each other.
