"His body was sin, his cock was sin, and I was a sinner."
When I saw the cover and title I thought this book is the Suits TV series book version with hotter scenes. Well it does have lots and lots of hot scenes but there were no lawyer scenes. All they did was go to work, read contracts, tease each other, go home and make angry sex. Angry sex here means filthy sex with dirty words and hurtful acts. While filthy sex can be hot in some cases, in this book it wasn't because I couldn't see Nathan and Lila's connection. The book ended without clarity on Nathan's anger issues. Am also guessing there's something more to Lila's issues. What I did feel though was the emptiness and numbness that Lila felt after what Nathan did to her. The writer was able to convey and make the readers feel her catatonic state. I particularly liked Lila when she became indifferent to Nathan. I felt her indifference more in the end than before. Also I'm not really a fan of Nathan yet. Maybe in the next book. I hate the cliffy!! I'm still going to read the next book though. Maybe Nathan gets to be redeemed in it. Plus I want him to grovel some more.

"She deserved more, so much more than me; an angry, depressed, broken man"
The next book in the series is a short heartbreaking story in Nathan's POV. This gave us a glimpse of what goes on inside the mind of the broken, tortured and filthy-mouthed hero. This shows us another view of the last chapter of book 1 moving to the first chapter off book 2.
