This book is recommended for fans of The Island.

I very much liked the story which isn't surprising since I loved a previous book with a similar plot.

One of their differences though is the setting because the crash site of this book is on a hill in the middle of the Amazon.

Another difference is the characters since the hero is broken and aloof while the heroine has some of the shallowness at the start.

She redeemed herself though and theirs became a pretty good love story.

Though we have read this plot before, it's still worth the read because it was so interesting to read about survival and how they did it.
