Overall Rating: 3.6 stars

For such a depressing story, I'm surprised I really liked it. Though it was quite heart breaking, I found the story inspiring. The heroine picked herself up before our eyes.

The story was written so beautifully as we get to experience love and loss at the same time. We get to feel the connection and true love between Ben and Elsie. We get to experience the loss of Elsie and Susan. We get to see how Elsie gets to know herself despite her pain.

One thing I liked about this writer is her use of beautiful words. I liked her prose and how it makes you feel. And that despite the sex taking a backseat it was still a beautiful love story.

This book is recommended to those who love reading Eat, Pray, Love type of stories.
