I decided to have a fantasy filled weekend reading and decided to have a Kitty Thomas marathon. I've had the pleasure of reading Comfort Food before and recently Tender Mercies. Now I moved on to Guilty Pleasures. This book is another fantasy, but it is centered on married couples.
It is disturbing but yet it is amazing. It's about Michael and Vivian, a married couple who lost the passion and spice of their relationship. I didn't like the Vivian or rather i did not understand her issues at first. But i liked her husband Michael and i get it when he took matters in his hand and tried to resolve their issues. About middle of the book I already had a feeling of what the ending will be. But I still stuck it out and devoured the book. What happened next is a lust filled, fantasy of becoming fulfilled sexually for the characters.
This is recommended for those who want to escape angst and real issues and just delve into fantasy and dream even for a short time. I read it for 4 hours straight only. It was only a short book but it was worth it. Again i cannot stress how good Kitty Thomas is on short BDSM fantasy stories.
